Struggle is Real is a creative platform and YouTube community addressing the challenges of creative blocks, perfectionism, and the mental hurdles of the writing process. Through structured prompts and collaborative writing sessions the project helps writers overcome perfectionism and quiet the “mental static”. By narrowing our focus through simple exercises, we are tricking the mind out of overthinking. The project emphasizes the “struggle” of the creative process and encourages self-expression and truth-telling. Therefore, building a continuous habit together. When people facing the same creative struggle come together in search of a solution, the doors will open where you didn’t know they existed.
